Friends, fans, and loved ones… tribegurls here. And no, we definitely haven’t forgotten about you. A small update on us - if we’ve learned anything in the last 6 months, it's that sometimes our dreams for our lives are not always God's dreams for our lives. It's the most challenging and yet the most freeing lesson to learn. In January, we both felt that God was calling us to a season of rest. Hesitant to put “our lives” on hold, we chose to listen and soon found ourselves in a 3 month discipleship course that radically transformed our lives. It was here that we learned to hear from God. Like, actually hear from Him as our creator, our father, and our king. We soon realized that he was leading us in a different direction and was asking us to let go of TRIBE, at least for now. It was a long and at times painful process, but He was so gentle, so patient, and so persistent is His pursuit. 7 months later, we now find ourselves back in the states. We are both preparing to embark on two different areas of ministry where we hope to encourage and bless women in the states. Our tribegurls in Uganda have been blessed with new job opportunities, and although part of our hearts still remain in Uganda, we are slowly learning what we’ve been telling you all along.. that our hearts, above anything, are worth being taken care of. And we have a mighty faithful father, who, when we are willing to listen, will take us places we never dreamed of going.
