Look at this sweet girl… what a beautiful smile! She came in my shoppe Saturday and spotted a tea set.

She had her own money and actually bought her first little tea set… even young ladies have something special call their name in my shoppe sometimes;)

She left with a lollipop and an American flag, and a big smile… courtesy of once upon a time… I just love my young customers!

Happy Father's Day to all you men that faithfully follow their families into my shoppe! You are patient, and as you pick at your wives/daughters because they are spending too much time or money in my store,… I see the twinkle in your eye and the love for your family. Thank you for being that person; I appreciate you, and they do too!

And, I am also blessed to have a good guy in my life. We raised our family and now we are living life/our adventure together… Wouldn't have a different one! And believe me, he follows me around quite a few places too! Thankful for you, my dear....smoooooch;)

A sweet customer came in a couple of weeks ago and bought some really pretty handkerchiefs from me. She was making a Sunbonnet Sue quilt and was using the handkerchiefs for the bonnets and skirts… She very quickly sent me a picture of the finished product… Don't you simply love this!!! She's going to do a bridal one next using all white… A very talented lady, for sure!

My Daughter Ariel got to visit the Charles Dickens house in London and sent these pictures. (Notice the little brass candlewick cutter/scissors in the second picture) She sent these pics because we found the exact same brass trimmer when I met her in Ireland in March. The last picture is the picture of mine. But the day after she sent me these pictures, it went out the door with a sweet customer… Fun to see things in their original setting, though!
