It’s been a while since we’ve done an Employee Highlight!

Today we’re incredibly thankful for Daryl Thompson! Daryl has been at Abilene Equipment Center for 31 years (about to hit 32!). Daryl is the Parts Manager, a job he does exceptionally well! He loves introducing new products and expanding the customer base. In his free time, he loves to work on automobiles (ask him about some of his amazing projects) or spending time with other believers in Christ. His dream day off would be in the mountains with a Jeep and his family.

Today we would like to highlight one of our longest serving employees, Button West! Button has been a salesman at Abilene Equipment Center for 35 years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and community to AEC. His favorite thing about working here is knowing the customers and taking care of their needs. On his days off you can find Button working on his farm and chasing his grandkids. He is proud of his family and says that they are great people to be around! Buttons dream day off would be a cool day in the mountains. Button, we are so thankful for you and your 35 years of hard work!

Equipment Service Coordinator – Full Time
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented guy to keep our equipment yard running smooth. You’ll check in new and repaired machines, unload trucks, wash and detail equipment after service, coordinate with the techs on priorities, and stage everything so the team knows exactly what’s ready each day. Keep the yard organized and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Todays employee feature is Jeff Cornelius. Jeff has been with Abilene Equipment Center for 8 years and is in our Parts Sales department. He enjoys meeting customers and helping them figure out issues with their equipment. Jeff is a true outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and just being outside. If he could plan a dream day off he would go hunting Red Stagg in New Zealand. If you need help finding a part, come chat with Jeff!

Today we start with the shining face you see when you enter the doors, Tara!

Tara has been at Abilene Equipment Center for 16 years. Her favorite thing about working here is the family she has here as well as our exceptional customers. If shes not working she’s spending time with her grandkids, but her dream day off would be at the Spa! When asked about her life motto she says “Don’t stress, do your best, and forget the rest!”
