It is humbling to hear that people enjoy my work.

Lucky Mallet Golf makes the coolest stamped ball markers coins, divot tools, and club customization stamping. Give them a look. Located in Abilene, TX. Another maker that works with his hands.

Lucky Mallet Golf needed a simple display mat for the golf tournaments he is a vendor at. This one is 11" x 17".

This would also be a great product for corporate branding in your office as a keyboard mat, business card base, or door and wall signage. It can be backed with acrylic and have wall standoffs installed for a cool look.

I get to work on some cool projects. A friend from college serves as the acting president for this group. These gifts are presented to team members who have served for a minimum of 5 years. I appreciate them sending me a picture of the assembled project.

I didn't make the cast iron skillets, but I did make the handle slips for them.

I didn't want to make a generic one size fits all slip, so I ordered the exact skillet they would be gifting to make sure it was a good fit.

Fun project! Simple, clean lines, functional, custom.

Well...

The Saturday delivery just arrived.

Just think about all of the briskets, steaks, filet mignon, roasts, ribs, and ground beef were eaten to get these.

I have a cool job. You get to enjoy your meal for 24 hours, then I get to make something that lasts for years out of the byproduct.

Abilene State Supported Living Center hosted their annual Christmas on the Green golf tournament fundraiser today. Maxwell Golf Course rolled out the red carpet for them as expected. Great job!

The elves in my workshop delivered some Santa Hat themed head covers for the winning team and their efforts.

It was an honor to make them. Another fun project completed.

The patch head cover is an easy way to get your brand/logo/company name on player's bags for years to come. Your advertising dollars get to live on for years. Literally. They are more affordable than you expect.

Man! What an honor it was to make all of the player gifts for FCA's golf tournament this year. I hope they enjoy the wallets for a long time.

A special custom gift will be given to each of the players that win today. They will get to design their own patch head cover. Excited to see what they choose.

I love getting the chance to be creative with leatherwork. I love having the ability to make a gift for someone that makes them smile.

In the Summer of 1997, I was sitting in a classroom at a local junior college trying to get a few more credit hours before I started "college". Next to me was a guy trying to do the same thing.

We went to different colleges, but ended up choosing the same field of study. He stuck with it, and I am a leather worker. Go figure. He is one of the finest humans to ever walk the planet, and I am grateful for our nearly 30 year friendship.

I hope you enjoy your passport wallet, and the journeys you will take with it. Keep shining that light, brother.
