Sometimes the redfish are spooky and will shy away from a larger fly presented to them. To a fish like this I will offer a smaller fly with a softer presentation. There is nothing like the rush you get from seeing a redfish crash a topwater fly. Because of the shape of his mouth, a red literally brings his head up out of the water to crash down on the fly. It is all I can do to wait until I feel him on the fly and not pull it away from him. The Sherman and the Panzer are just the flies. They are spun deer hair flies that float on top of the water. Sometimes the redfish are spooky and a delicate, finesse presentation is called for. A smaller fly that enters the water gently will get their attention. Introducing the Klikbait... the brass beads on the bottom act as a keel weight, causing the hook point to ride up. They also create a faint clicking sound when retrieved. Works great for any game fish that forages on baitfish.
