Their goal has always been to create an event that brings together talented local artisans, small businesses, great food, live music, and families for a fun-filled Fourth of July celebration.

When they're not planning the Palooza, Melissa and Jordan are busy creating the handcrafted items that have become the heart of Rae of Dawn.

Originally from Lafayette and Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Elizabeth and Jason brought more than just their Southern roots with them when they moved to Wisconsin four years ago—they brought generations of family recipes, tradition, and a passion for sharing authentic Louisiana cooking.

While they both work full-time careers in healthcare and machine operations, their love for Southern cuisine inspired them to begin this exciting new venture. Their business was created in honor of their late mothers, carrying on a family legacy through delicious home-style cooking and genuine Southern hospitality.

Be sure to stop by and enjoy authentic Louisiana favorites, including:
