CLOSED TOMORROW. I AM HIRING. CALL FOR A JOB. Sorry to say guys but I had an employee leave today. We are going back to Winter hours. We will be open from 6:00 a.m. through noon everyday but Tuesday and Wednesday when we are closed. That means we are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on Fridays and Saturdays only open until noon. As always if you'd like to come in when we are not open you can always call or txt me at 770-815-9579 to see if I can meet you. Please do it ahead of time so I can let you know if I will be there when you want to meet.

Tomorrow should be an amazing day to fish! All kinds of fronts and weather systems moving through. Afternoon rain coming in to keep the pleasure boaters off the lake. The morning weather looks great! I know I'll be out there!

Adam and shad dog at the shop this morning. We're getting a new load of herring in this morning. We are also loaded up with gizzard shad and threadfin shad.

I think it's kind of funny! Everybody thinks the lake's going to be too crowded on a holiday weekend so doesn't go fishing. The lake ends up being less crowded with fishermen than any other weekend. Lol you just need to be off the water by about 10:00 or 11:00 before the crazy happens. Here's a nice striper caught by Extreme Stripers Guide Service

CLOSING EARLY FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!! WE WILL BE CLOSING AT NOON TODAY AND NOON TOMORROW FOR THE HOLIDAY. Between the heat and the traffic I don't think it's worth staying open after noon.
