Tomorrow's the first day of school, and I have so many thoughts running through my mind. As excited as I am, I’m also scared and nervous. This isn’t the same first day of school many of us grew up with. The world has changed so much, and sadly, it can feel a lot harsher than it once did.

Today, I’m praying for the safety and well-being of every student, teacher, and staff member. I’m praying for patience, strength, and wisdom for all of our educators as they guide and shape young minds each day. Please remember that children are learning not only academics, but also kindness, confidence, and compassion from the adults around them.

My prayer is that every school is a safe, welcoming place where everyone feels valued, supported, and protected. Wishing all students, teachers, and staff a wonderful, successful, and safe school year ahead.
