Can you believe it?! Despite a couple naysayers that told me year 3 would kill me 🙄, here we are still bringing books to the neighborhood and beyond 📚❤️

This is the year of the quilt for us, mainly because I am actually working on my very first quilt, and well…I can’t better describe the feeling I get from coming into work than the feeling of a cozy quilt. So we’ve got quilt bookmarks, quilt gift cards, and a quilt community display starting Saturday. And if I can commit to the design we will have new quilt themed store merch in time for Fall 🍁

Hope to see you tomorrow, and thank you for all the support and book love!

The Ending Writes Itself by Evelyn Clarke

Written with the pen name Evelyn Clarke, authors Cat Clarke and V.E. Schwab create a thrilling, fun, and cozy murder mystery set on a private Scottish Island.

The bestselling mystery author Aurthur Fletch has died, leaving his fourth and final novel unfinished. Six struggling authors are summoned to his island to compete for a massive prize; the catch is they have to write the perfect ending to Author’s novel in a mere 72 hours.

Seems simple, but throw in jealousy, lies, a kooky mansion, and backstabbing (also literal stabbing), and the authors find themselves fighting for their lives!

Grab this one if you love a twisty-turny mystery, enjoy a bit of wit and humor, or if you just enjoy a page-turning thriller!

Bad Blood out today! If your kiddo likes all things creepy, awesome monster artwork, and superheroes who fight nightmares, the Maxwell Darker by is for them. I love a graphic novel with amazing artwork. Who would think gross ugly monsters could be so fun 🤷🏼‍♀️

Buy a copy of Maxwell Darker and get a cool sticker sent from the author himself- BUT after spring break, because the stickers snuck into my work bag and are now hunkering down in the mountains 😂

And Now, Back to You by B.K. Borison

I loved this even more than First-Time Caller, which didn’t seem possible! Rival meteorologists are forced to cover a snowstorm together, then forced to share a hotel room and sparks fly!

Our next Nonfiction Bookclub pick.

The Salt Stones by Helen Whybrow

Longlisted for the National Book Award
New Yorker Best Book of the Year

Set in Vermont’s Green Mountains, a profoundly moving meditation on the lessons and wisdom that come from raising a family, tending sheep, and living close to the land.

I for one will be reading this one over Spring Break ⛰️

As always, all current book club books are 15% off.

Detour by Jeff Rake & Rob Hart

Full of suspense and thrills, Detour grabbed me at the start and didn’t disappoint!

Earth is dying, and six astronauts, among them three civilians - a young artist, a data scientist, and a disgraced cop - join an exploratory mission to Saturn’s largest moon for the purpose of finding a new home. Upon their return, they find an Earth similar to the one they left, but with some unexplained differences.

Detour is a fast-paced novel full of conspiracy, the thrill of the chase, and likable characters. If you enjoy novels by Blake Crouch and Andy Weir, add Detour to your TBR!
