We took the Bridgerton brief personally.

From custom printed floral tablecloths to lace layered through ivory drapery, the romance was in the details.

Baroque gold cutlery, vintage inspired glassware, petite table lamps and grand candelabras carried the story across the tables. Florals echoed the linens, bringing the entire design together.

“We want the event to feel like an indoor golf course.”

That was the brief from our friends at Builders FirstSource. After the March event they trusted us again, and were were ready to deliver.

For this charity evening at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas benefiting Blood Cancer United, we turned a ballroom into the greens: turf and golf flags at every table, golf balls floating in cylinder vases, candlelight for warmth, and ivory linen with gold chargers and sleek black chair covers for a polished finish.

Every sight line stayed open to the stage, and our silent auction corner became a full storefront, complete with a screen spotlighting auction items and thanking the sponsors.

We are grateful for our returning client and the opportunity to support a cause that matters❤️

12 team members. 8 hours. And a transformation that continued during the ceremony. 🤍

Behind the scenes of the Perlas’ wedding at Hall of Lights, brought to life in burgundy, sand and ivory.

Guests entered through a photo and candle gallery tunnel leading to the outdoor ceremony. The aerial view captures our custom baroque draped altar, built on a truss. The wind had nothing on those drapes! 👏🏽

While the couple said “I do,” our team moved the photo displays to the cocktail area, creating a second tunnel leading to a photo moment with its own baroque draped backdrop, two chandeliers and a neon name sign provided by the Casa Delares team.

A custom draped bar, two clamshell furniture lounges and pearl strings on every chair completed the setting, with the pearls offering a personal nod to the Perlas.

So proud of our Events D’Lux crew and the work behind every detail!

A room reveal fit for the Perlas 🤍

Yesterday at Hall of Lights, burgundy, sand and ivory set the scene for a celebration filled with thoughtful details.

A nod to the couple’s name brought pearls into the design, with pearl strings accenting every chair and two lounges featuring clamshell furniture.

Custom baroque draping framed the ceremony, cocktail area, photo area, stage and both bars, while gallery style photo displays brought the couple’s story into the space.

The beautiful design vision came from Amanda and Gabriela of Global Event Planning + Design, with production by Events D’Lux.

Our first collaboration, and such a pleasure from beginning to end, and honestly the most detailed planner we have had to work with till date.

They trusted us to bring their vision to life, and watching the couple take it all in made every detail worth it.

Congratulations to the Perlas! 🤍

🎨 The Power of a Well-Planned Color Palette

One of the biggest mistakes people make when designing an event is choosing colors they love individually without considering how they work together.

For this event, every design element was intentionally selected to create harmony, depth, and visual balance. Notice how the color palette flows seamlessly from the linens to the florals, table settings, and decorative accents. When colors are thoughtfully layered, they create an experience that feels cohesive, elevated, and memorable.

Here are 3 tips for choosing your event color palette:

1️⃣ Start with one dominant color that sets the mood.
2️⃣ Add one or two complementary colors for balance and dimension.
3️⃣ Incorporate neutrals or metallics to create sophistication and prevent the design from feeling overwhelming.

A beautiful event isn’t just about pretty decor—it’s about creating a visual story through intentional color choices.

This design may be from two years ago, but great color theory never goes out of style.
