Sprayer's Choice: whoever is holding the spray gun gets to decide.

No color chart, no order form. Somebody in the booth made the call, and the result is a total one-off. Sometimes it's a wild burst pattern or color over that signature PRS curly maple top. When we were at the factory two weeks ago, we saw a run of Sprayer's choice sparkles that we just couldn't pass up.

A Custom 24 Semi-Hollow, an NF53, an S2 Custom 24, and an S2 McCarty Thinline. Four very different guitars, same happy accident.

A beat up black Hummingbird is hard to beat.

This is our Dealer Select spec: Ebony instead of the usual burst, with Murphy Lab Heavy Aging so the checking and wear read right through the black. Thermally aged Sitka top, hand-scalloped bracing, and that casted Hummingbird pickguard. Doty gets into it.

Custom appointments without the tuxedo.

All the upscale trim is here, ebony board, mother of pearl blocks, split diamond headstock, but in gloss Cherry with nickel hardware and uncovered Burstbuckers instead of the usual black and gold. Solid mahogany, no weight relief, and still 7 lb 9.8 oz. Doty gets into it.

Gibson Custom nailed it with this '57 Les Paul.
Mustard Gold under Murphy Lab's heaviest aging, worn in like it has been somebody's number one since the sixties. It looks awesome. It feels awesome. Underwound Custombuckers give it a little more chime. Doty gets into it.

A unique Faded Peach Burst with a set of humbuckers to match.

Custombucker Alnico 4s do not show up often, and when they do the guitar tends to leave the store fast. Pair that with a burst you will not see on the wall twice and it adds up quick. Murphy Lab Heavy Aged over a hand-selected AAA top, one-piece mahogany, no weight relief, 8 lb 6.7 oz. Doty gets into it.

Gibson took the wood behind their wildest 1958 designs and put it under a '64 SG Standard, then finished it Antique Natural so it looks the part. Authentic 1964 profile, long neck tenon, Custombucker Alnico 3s, Maestro Vibrola - it rules.

The story goes that John and George were after something else entirely and walked out with J-160Es instead. Those guitars ended up on half the early records. You rarely see them in any other finish than Vintage Sunburst.

Ours is a Tone Shop exclusive Dealer Select, spec'd in Ebony with a firestripe pickguard instead of the usual sunburst and tortoise. Solid Sitka over mahogany, scalloped X-bracing, SlimTaper neck, P-90 through the top.

Sleep Token signatures are here, and they did not hold back.

Two instruments built around how this band actually plays. Luminlay side dots on both, because nobody is reading a fretboard under those lights.

IV's Jackson Monarkh SC runs a 30 inch scale with an EverTune F6, spec'd for the whole-octave-down tuning that gives the band its floor. Quilt maple veneer over mahogany in Transparent Black Burst, Pale Moon Ebony board, Fishman Fluence Open Core humbuckers, jumbo stainless frets.

III's Charvel San Dimas Bass V is multi-scale, 34.4 to 35.5 inches, so the low B keeps its tension instead of going slack. Caramelized maple neck and board, custom red Fishman Fluence soapbars against gloss black, reverse Strat headstock.
