La Vernia/Sutherland Springs - we’re resting against our 25-foot tall fireplace looking at the front door and upstairs mancave of mercantile made of a 200-yr old barn frame made by a settler-farmer … whom I wish could see his hard labor now. The w**e/tea room (and humidor) is to the right in a different room - that’ll offer Hill Country C***r House, Cactus Land Brewing Co., Bending Branch Winery, The Toasty Lemon , 12-15 gourmet teas [hot or iced], and old fashioned sodas), Brooster’s Coffee is in a different room to the left, Pop's Ice Cream is directly in center of mercantile past those 2 vertical beams in front of our face, and Team Birria Taquitos y Más just outside the door (+ other surprises later). We’re sitting where 4 large leather club chairs will soon be. (Can you see the scissor-lift in the distance on the left, for size-perspective?)

This view of Pioneer Wood Companys new location at 8915 Hwy 87 WEST between LV and Sutherland Springs … just 7 miles from Stockdale … will be 200% different within DAYS.

(**Our original mercantile - 125 Maldonado Lane on 87 - will be PERMANENTLY CLOSED as a mercantile October 31, and moved to this new location to become tavern/tea room #2).
