2025 Hunter Safety in the books! We had a great group of students. There were five rifles donated to be given away this year. The rifles were donated by the Officer Instructors, Rockin V Cattle, and Excalibur Sporting Goods. We also had four $25 Excalibur Sporting Goods gift certificates donated by Welch State Bank, two $200 gift certificates donated by Powderhorn Taxidermy, and thanks to the donation of Officer Dartanion Tilley and Austin Brown- State Farm Insurance a combination LIFE TIME Hunting/Fishing License was also awarded.
Needless to say we had some happy young ladies and gentlemen as the day came to a close.
Other donations of the day included: Welch State Bank: Blaze Orange Hunting Caps and lunch fixings including all the paper goods, pop/water, potato salad, baked beans and chips.
Scott Osborn, Mark Chapman and Stan Carpenter: Provided all the hamburgers, hotdogs, bratwurst, and buns to include the condiments. Mark and Scott served as the grill masters for the day, thanks guys!
Austin Brown, State Farm Insurance donated Blaze Orange Hunting Vest and Caps.
As you know these events don't happen easily and it takes several individuals working together to accomplish.
