Sakura season is my favorite time of year! Last year I traveled about this time to Joetsu to view the sakura at Takada Castle & Park for its 100th sakura season. Timing was perfect because I caught the blooms at its peak!

While I cannot make it to Japan every year, I hope you will enjoy some of these special blooms of the season. There are a few new designs and a few favorites. 🌸🌸🌸

This season some of my time is being split with this red vending machine at Pearlridge Center Mauka Center Court. I have donated and volunteered at it before but only realized the true impact it makes locally and globally this year. I met many with big hearts from the participating nonprofits who were so grateful. They taught me more about how we just need to act and that makes a big difference. However you add light this Christmas season, let’s light the world!

Happy 5th! I cannot believe it's been five years! Your support made all the difference. Thank you for loving my creations, visiting me at fairs, and being part of my journey.

The Kibou Anniversary Set represents my love for Japan and sakura, symbolizing life and cherished friendships. I picked up items in the set during my travels to Japan, including the beads, pencils, and pens.

There is also a special shoutout to Fukuoka, my favorite city - I fell in love with its food, sites, and culture when I lived there. I love it because it is still a city without being too busy like Tokyo. Highly recommended if you have never been. Someone please bring back the direct flights! 🙏🏼 My favorite foods include Hakata ramen, Ippudo, Uncle Testu's Japanese Cheesecake, gyoza and the yatai. I love to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu, Fukuoka Tower, Itoshima and Iimori Jinja's Yabusame Demonstration every October 9th. But really any trip to Japan is one I look forward to.
