Meet Delilah. I just had to brag on this precious little girl. She came into my care with Palmetto Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation of South Carolina this past Thursday. She likely fell out of the nest and ended up with a back injury of some sort. She was completely flaccid from the waist down. I’ve been stimulating her legs, feet and tail, doing light therapy and physical movement with her after every feeding. She still has a long way to go, but if you watch the video you’ll see that she’s responding to stimulation and giving some little karate kicks. She will also flick her tail when stimulated and will very briefly hold onto my finger with her feet. She’s just the most precious and sweetest baby. She also has a spunky side. She’s a fan favorite here and I’ve had to take her from Bart more than once. 😂 I hope to see her climbing and jumping one day!!
