They’re our market Bounty Bags they’re filled with fresh, locally grown produce straight from our farmers and they’re ready to head home with you! 💛

Our weekly Bounty Bags are a great option if you love the idea of a produce subscription but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full or half season. Just order the weeks you want some extra veggies in your kitchen! 🥦

Each week, our Hub Manager Allison hand-selects a mix of produce based on what our farmers have seasonally fresh. Contents change from week to week, giving you the chance to bring home a variety of local veggies, and you might even try something you wouldn’t normally pick out for yourself!

💛 Thank you for another wonderful Saturday at the Aitkin Farmer’s Market! 💛

The weather couldn’t quite make up its mind this week, with on-and-off showers throughout the morning. After a bit of a dry summer, our farmers certainly weren’t complaining about the rain, but we were even happier to see so many smiling faces still make their way through the market despite a few raindrops! 🌦️

📚 We also had our local librarian, Mandie, join us for Storytime at the Market! Our littlest market-goers enjoyed stories all about bugs and a fun bug-themed craft before heading off to explore our market. 🐛

From colorful late-summer produce to locally made products, good food, and plenty of friendly faces, there was lots to discover in between raindrops!

Thank you for continuing to show up and supporting our farmers, growers, bakers, makers, and small businesses who make our market so special. 💛 We’ll see you next Saturday for Session 6 of our Food as Medicine Series - Inflammation Support Through Food!🌻

Pork sausage, garlic cheese curds, carrots, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, purple potatoes, cabbage, sourdough scones, sourdough bread AND fresh-baked bread all made their way home with us today! 😋

🌭 Two local farms. One bratty collaboration 🌭

National Brat Day is this Sunday, and two of our local meat producers decided there was only one proper way to celebrate…together! 🤎

This Saturday, stop by Righteous Oaks Farm LLC for a package of their pork brats AND Rosey-Future Angus for a package of their all-beef brats. Shop both farms and you'll get to choose a little farm bonus:

🥔 1 lb. of purple potatoes from Righteous Oaks Farm

Because really, why choose between pork and beef brats when you can bring home both?! 😂🌭

Market day may be Saturday, but the work starts LONG before then! 🍞💛

Just look at all of those beautiful sourdough loaves from Simply Sourdough by Keely, and she says this is only a small portion of what she’ll have ready for Saturday! 😍

Our bakers spend their week mixing, kneading, proofing, baking, and preparing to fill their tables on market morning. There are so many hours of work behind everything you see at the market!

Our vendors work incredibly hard to make market Saturdays happen, and we love getting little behind-the-scenes peeks like this! 💛🍞

Sneak peek into preparation:

The alarm went off at 4 AM this morning, and the first job of the day was shaping sourdough!

These are just some of the loaves getting ready for this week’s markets. There are lots more steps between this table and the market table, but this is where it all starts.

I’ve got a big baking week ahead, but I can’t wait to fill my tables with fresh sourdough, scones, cookies, English muffins and pizza crusts!

There’s plenty for the whole family to do while you spend your Saturday morning with us. Sometimes all you need is a bucket of sidewalk chalk and a little ✨imagination✨
