Find me at this Sunday and relax between sets with some crafting! Iโ€™ll have supplies to make friendship bracelets, bag charms, bead critters, and boondoggle keychains. Crafting with me is free, but Iโ€™ll happily accept tips to cover cost of supplies.

We had so much fun making parol with everyone at the Filipino Island Fest last weekend! Thank you so much to everyone that came to craft with us and buy the craft kits I designed. It was a HOT day but we are so grateful that we were able to be there and share in celebrating Filipino culture with Alameda. Hope to see you again next year! Hi friends, Iโ€™m going to Michigan from Oct 5 to Oct 13 because my baby sister theresa ๐ŸŽ€ is getting married! So we have some special hours for the next week.

Wed 10/7 we will open at 2pm instead of noon! Angelina Bustos will be running the shop and q***r social crafting from 6pm to 8pm will be happening as usual!

Thu 10/8 and Fri 10/9 the shop will be closed.

Sat 10/10 and Sun 10/11 the shop will be open our regular hours but Angelina Bustos and Olivia Hallmark will be running the shop!

Back to business as usual starting Wed 10/14!

We got our first donation for our winter accessory drive today! ๐ŸŽ‰ Firebird Yarns in SF will also be collecting donations, so if youโ€™re not in the East Bay you can drop things off there!

If you need yarn to make donation items, we have lots of donated acrylic yarn here that is perfect for this. Stop by Coven of Stitches and weโ€™ll give you a skein or two to bring back in hat form! ๐Ÿงถ

See you tomorrow at the Filipino Island Fest! Stop by our booth (spot 76 if you have a map!) and make a mini parol with us! This is a free craft event suitable for kids and adults that takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Weโ€™ll also have craft kits inspired by the Philippines for sale! These were all designed by me and hand-assembled by the Coven of Stitches team at our shop here in Alameda. After the festival, weโ€™ll have the remaining kits for sale in our shop.

Itโ€™s time for our winter accessory drive again! We are collecting handmade cold weather accessories to distribute at the winter care village hosted by Punks with Lunch. Items should be adult sized, new, or in good used condition and cleaned before donating. Our craft kits are getting a bit of a packaging upgrade! Iโ€™m trying to be as plastic-free with our packaging as I can, these are molded pulp clamshells from Sustainable Packaging (SPI). Our kits are lovingly hand-assembled; Jason Dodd cut out each felt backing circle, Angelina Bustos cut each length of embroidery floss, and I added a touch of Filipino whimsy to secure the tapestry needle and needle threader for each kit. The stamp washi tape is from Le Petit Elefant!

My Visayan flower and Ilocano crab cross stitch kits will be available this weekend at our booth at the Filipino Island Fest! Come get some delicious food and do a parol craft with us! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ’œ
