As Mother’s Day approaches I finished one of the most meaningful and emotional projects to date. In the early 40’s my mom hand sewed these quilt squares but never made a quilt. After years of being stored my sister brought them out of storage.

Instantly I had a vision for a way to make a great piece of art that will carry on my mom’s legacy for generations to come in the Stovall family. Thanks to Dinky’s Monogramming for preparing each square for the display racks I made.

Couldn’t think of a better way to honor my mom than with such a project. Honored to touch a piece of family history and prepare it for family generations to come.
