Hattie has been doing such a GREAT job at Blue Goose! She works hard, jumps right in, and is always willing to help wherever needed. We are so lucky to have her as part of the Blue Goose crew!

Why Blue Goose? 🩵🪿

People ask me all the time, “Why did you name your store Blue Goose?”

So with some help 😉 - here is a fun story!!

The truth is, there wasn’t a fancy marketing team, a focus group, or a million-dollar branding strategy involved.

I made a list of names. Lots of names.

Some were too serious.
Some were too boring.
Some sounded like law firms.
Some sounded like they sold tractor parts.

Then somehow, Blue Goose landed on the list.

The more I said it, the more I laughed.

A goose is a little quirky, a little stubborn, always seems to be on an adventure, and somehow manages to get everyone’s attention wherever it goes. Honestly… it felt familiar. 🫣

And blue? Well, blue makes people happy. It’s cheerful, welcoming, and just happens to be my one of my favorite colors.

So I put them together:
Blue Goose. 🩵🪿

A name that makes people smile, makes them curious, and is impossible to forget.

Just like the store, I wanted something a little different, a little fun, and full of personality.

Besides, when someone says, “I’m headed to Blue Goose,” it sounds a whole lot more exciting than, “I’m headed to Generic Gifts & Party Supplies.”

And that’s the official story… unless the goose starts telling a different version. 🩵🪿
