It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of a truly special member of the Krause's Homemade Candy family, Mark Buck.

For many years, he was the heart and soul behind so many of the treats you've come to love. Before his retirement in 2019, he dedicated his time and incredible talent to crafting the perfect candy centers for our creams, truffles, caramels and buttercrunch, a well as making our signature peanut brittle and caramel corn.

He was a man of immense talent- so much so that he even hand-carved the original piece we still use today to make our beloved chocolate bunny, Marcus.

Beyond his incredible skills, he was the definition of hard-working. No matter the circumstances, he showed up with dedication and a passion for his craft. He was genuinely loved by all of us, our staff, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Even though he retired a few years ago, his legacy lives on in every sweet treat we make. He will always be an irreplaceable part of Krause's Homemade Candy.

Please join us in sending our deepest condolences, love, and prayers to his family during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
