Just wanted to reach out to you folks on here. Does anyone have (amongst their collection) all 12 issues of Bluegrass Unlimited magazine from 1996? I’m just looking for information from the National Bluegrass Survey Top 30 from those 12 issues…January-December 1996. If you happen to have them, just a quick readable phone picture of each month’s page showing the Top 30 songs/Top 15 albums is all im after. Thanks very much in advance.

I just learned that legendary dobro player Johnny Bellar passed away on August 5th, 2026. He’s always been an unsung hero/best kept secret in the resophonic world…except among players. I heard him really early in my playing journey and was as amazed the first time as I was the last. Pure creativity and innovation. Rest in peace Johnny, and prayers for peace to his family and friends.

Wanted to post another helpful hint. If you use much super glue (cyanoacrylate), you know the shelf life is pretty short. You can extend this at least 3x by storing the bottles in a sealed mason jar…putting each bottle in a small baggie helps even more. Storing your super glue this way is ESPECIALLY helpful if you ever use/store accelerator anywhere in the vicinity. (This trick works just as well with Gorilla Glue if you put the bottle in the jar upside down.)
