Little Tokyo Lounge is starting an acoustic open Mic night on Wednesdays from 7-11 pm. It'll be hosted by D Medley and myself with an occasional special guest musician/group as host. Free to participate and attend. Bring your own instruments. Keyboards and hand percussion encouraged.

Tuesday March 1st will be a day of big things for the Annual Shamrock Festival at Stony Mountain Vineyards.

#1 the meal tickets are going to be available for purchase starting that morning. Don't procrastinate, these things sell out every year. $14 for food and a glass of wine is tough to beat.

#2 I'll be announcing the line up of performers for the "Luck O the Irish Song" contest where the best Irish song cover wins the Pot O Gold for a lucky performer.

Next showcase is going to be March 12th at stony mountain winery. We're going to add a slight spin on it this year. It's going to be a contest of who can do the best rendition of one of 3 Irish songs. There will be a $10 buy-in for this one. The winner will take the full amount of collected entry fees. Winning song to be judged by a voting process. All artists will receive a free meal for participating. Please contact me by pm on Facebook or text 704-991-5120 with your contact info. Join me for the Drum Boot Camp coming in July. For the price of 1 month of lessons a student will get 2 hrs of intense drum training and rehearsal time every morning for 1 week. Call 704-991-5120 for more details.
