Last day to register for a backpack!!!! Do you need a backpack for your K-7 Freeborn County Student? Sign up goes from July 7-31, 2026. Please call 57-373-8776 to register your child. Backpack Distribution will be on Aug 7th, 2026 at The Salvation Army main building at 302 Court St., Albert Lea, MN.

Donations are accepted during regular Business hours at both the main offices and the Thrift Store.
List are usually at Walmart for what is needed.

We will have a Stuff the Bus event at Walmart on Fri. July 17 and Sat. July 18 .Help us to make this school year great for the children in our community.

Thank you to Walmart for hosting us and all those that came to donated at Walmart. Continue to help us to make this school year great for the children in our community with Much needed school supplies. More donations can be dropped off at the main church 302 Court St. During Business Hours. 8:30 -4 PM Or at the Thrift Store during store hours. Please be sure to tell the store these are for school supplies. Thank you in advance to our amazingly supportive community. We could not help those in need without your help first. We are so very grateful.
