Peddlers Den

Peddlers Den Peddlers Den is about all things paper crafting. Peddlers Den is located in northern Alabama. We do not have a brick and mortar store.

We manufacture our own rubber stamps, but also design and offer ephemera, mini books, stencils, classes, kits and so much more! Instead, we market and showcase our line at both in-person and virtual events. We are known for teaching classes for both scenic stamping, as well as most other techniques. Our stamping retreats allow for classes and hands on independent work by participants. We are now s

emi retired, so we are not known for our speed! When placing an online order, be aware that it may ship immediately, but more often it may take 2 weeks or more, if we happen to be on the road. We do not have a staff, but the two of us handle everything!

I am wanting to go back to Loveland CO to do the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo like last year. The only way this will be possible is if I can line up some help in advance. Historically Freeman ran the register and the booth while I taught classes. We hired volunteers to do make takes.

I need to hear from my Colorado fans! If you want me to come back, and you all gave me SUCH a sweet, warm welcome! I must round up some help. I would love to continue to teach, but that means finding someone familiar with the Square register to run the register in the booth.

My alternate plan would be to hire somebody to stand in for me and teach my classes. In theory this could be "taught" virtually, but I do have to say I hate to hand off my classes to anyone. I have always felt that was my "gift".

Everything is on the table. If you see a possible solution, are someone who might like to help, or know someone who might like to help, now is the time to speak up. The deadline for me to let expo know is coming up very fast. I have to have everything in a few months in advance.

Please private message me if you have something to discuss or a referral. Hoping to hear from lots of you!!

7 years ago. 2019 Spring Retreat. A milestone.
This was our first retreat featuring Makin' A Scene images, which debuted in 2018. It was the first one featuring our very own ink line. It included the unveiling of our Blending tints. I took a leap of faith and rented 50% more floor space, increasing my overhead significantly, but all of the space was needed and used.

The retreat was a resounding success! Old friends and new gathered for 3.5 days of stamping, creative inspiration, camaraderie, classes and fun. Ken and Joy Judd were able to join us from New Zealand, which was a travel istance record.

When we were packing out, it was snowing...very unusual for that late in April, but one more detail of a remarkable, milestone event.

At the time, we had no idea that this was to be our last Illinois retreat. Before the next one, the Covid lock down occurred, and before that ended, we had relocated to Alabama. Sweet memories!

Some of the attendees were:
Marge Reinsel Dady, Donna Fanella Krueger, Lynn Potocki, Pat Moore, Cheryl Dostal Miller, Jodi Cargill, Char Reynolds, Beverly Thiem, Roseann Brittain, Sue Morgan, Linda Vogt, Janelle Kowalczyk, Liz Herdandez and her husband, Carrie (from Iowa, whose last name is suddenly escaping me), Joy and Ken Judd, Ann Liesman, and myself. I am certain I am missing a couple of people, and if so, I apologize. Please post here. I would like to include everyone!

IF YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS or memories, PLEASE SHARE HERE and/or in our group, Makin' A Scene Rubber Stampers & Paper Crafters. I have others I need to dig out, so I will share them as I find them.
