Our Ogle’s Greenhouse family wanted to share the news of the loss of Linda, who was such an important part of our story and our family.
When my parents started Ogle’s Greenhouse in 1994, Linda was there from the very beginning as the original manager. For 24 years, she poured countless hours, hard work, knowledge, and love into helping build the business. So much of what happened behind the scenes, growing and caring for the plants, keeping things running, helping customers, and making sure everything was done right, was Linda.
As a kid, I was fortunate enough to grow up around the greenhouse and work alongside her. I watched the way she cared so deeply for her customers and her plants. She taught me the value of hard work and showed me what it means to truly care about the work you do and the people you serve.
I’ll always remember her laugh, her friendliness, and her ability to make anyone feel welcome. The greenhouse was a happy place for her, and it was easy to see how much she loved being there.
Even today, we continue to find her notes, her ideas, and little reminders of her throughout the greenhouse and garden center. Her touch is still all throughout the place. When we took over the business in 2023, she continued to stop by, offer encouragement, and share her knowledge. Those visits meant more than she probably ever realized.
Ogle’s Greenhouse has always been a family business, and Linda will forever remain a huge part of that family and its story. She played such an important role in helping my parents get the business started and keeping it running for 24 years. She helped build the foundation that we are fortunate enough to continue today.
I’m incredibly thankful that I got to call her my aunt, but I’m even more thankful that I got to learn from her.
Thank you, Linda, for the years of hard work, the lessons, the laughter, the encouragement, and the love you poured into our family and this greenhouse. We will continue to grow what you helped start.
You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will continue to grow through our family, our greenhouse, and all the lives you touched along the way.
