While on the lobster boat in Acadia, we also saw some Common Loons which I was glad to see since I saw one at Jordan Pond but he dove down and then was gone. There were also Double-crested cormorants sunning themselves and a lot of beautiful scenery.

We took a lobster boat ride out of the southwest harbor of Acadia National Park to meet some of the locals. This little lobster was put back in the ocean after his photo shoot. Acadia National Park is home to 2 types of seals - the harbor seal that has a dog like head and the larger gray seal that has more of a horse like head. The seals were not easy to photograph. The lobster was easy with a cell phone. 😁

The Pocono Mountains can show you beautiful scenery and fascinating wildlife. Sometimes it can be a large buck and sometimes it can be a young buck just starting his antlers. This young buck was found 9/19/26. Unfortunately, he was limping. White-tailed deer are resilient. Hopefully he will recover enough to have a long life.

Bucks Testing their abilities: On 9/15/26, I saw these young bucks testing their abilities with their antlers. The one is so funny dancing around.

9/15/26 Handsome 12 point buck. He started walking towards me and pawing the ground so I thought it was time to move on. I have a video of him I will share as well. He was probably just leaving his scent in the dirt for other bucks and does as he was also rubbing his face on the overhanging tree leaving facial scents.

Chipmunks are fast creatures so I thought we'd have a little fun and slow them down to get a better look at them and their movements. Unfortunately, the 2nd one appears to have a tumor growth on her abdomen.
