I was thrilled to see everyone that came to our Sip and Shop not only for Shopping… Sipping and Snacking but most importantly to support such an amazing cause for hospitalized Children…. Thank you for including me and La Casa Bella…A special thank you from my heart La Casa Bella Customers and Rotary Members

The Year of Cheer continues to grow—and our local business community is helping make it happen!

Following the recent La Casa Bella at The Promenade Open House, Fred and Evelyn Bryant delivered the toys collected at the event to UNM Children’s Hospital. The response from hospital staff was a hearty “YEAH!” They were thrilled with the generous collection and shared that the Child Life team would be very happy to receive everything.

And those toys are adding up: Since July 2026, Year of Cheer has already delivered 430 toys to UNM Children’s Hospital!

Casa Bella is a wonderful example of how a local business can turn an event into an opportunity to bring smiles to hospitalized children. A toy here, a collection box there—and suddenly, 430 toys are waiting to brighten some difficult days.

Many thanks to Casa Bella, and to the caring and cheerful proprietor Linda. Thank you to everyone who helped fill those boxes. The Cheer is growing!
