We're launching a new digital zine called Quirky Qollective Zine, and we'd love for you to submit your work! Follow us over at Quirky Qollective Zine and visit the link in our bio to fill out the submission form.

Note that Issue #1 will only have a few printed copies for our contributors, but will be available for download and printing online. All submissions must be made online; we're not accepting in-person entries.

We're open to artsy, literary, DIY, or anything creative (just no AI-generated content). You can submit up to 500 words for articles and poetry, or up to two drawings, photos, comics, etc. Please check the submission guidelines in the form. Thanks!

We just reset our $1 and below tables! Come browse! We have fiction of many genres & non fiction on subjects far and wide! All for less than a buck! We have free magazines, too! (We could use more magazines, so if you were thinking of making a donation, nows the time!:)

Next to our cash register is a change donation box. Every few months, our staff selects a community organization to receive these donations, and Quirky Used Books & More matches the amount with a donation of our own.

Starting this month, your change box donations will go to K'owa Collective

From April through June, our customers donated $86.63 to Casa Q After adding our matching funds, we are sending them $173.26. If you'd like to support Casa Q directly, please visit casaq.org.

We're excited to be collaborating with , a local fabric and quilting shop, to display a community protest quilt created by their Craftivism group. The Craftivism group is a collective of makers who use creativity as a form of activism and community engagement.

You can see the quilt hanging above our Literary Criticism and Essays sections whenever the store is open (11-6 daily) throughout the month of July. We hope you'll stop by to experience this powerful piece in person.
