Since our first day of inception, Halloween day 1998, we have always thought of our space as a "collective" . For our 'hood, nearby neighborhoods & the city in general. Which is why we have NEVER claimed our Google page. It appears that all evidence of our 26 year existence has been scrubbed from the interwebs. We would appreciate that the person/people who assume they are arbiters of Record Stores in ABQ restore us. We know who you are. And, we are here STILL here for a little while.

Founded in 1998 at the far edge of downtown Albuturque, Mecca Records is a community resource for all things VINYL! The Revolution WILL be at 33 1/3. Right ON!!

We have failed. Thought we could bug out of space before year's end. Who were we kidding??? 27 years of...STUPH! NOT possible.
So. Here we are packing up & yet stocking the bins & shelves at the same time. A very strange experience...all to say that; store hours into January!!!

Oh. Very interesting all of a sudden we have lotso followers. Haha.

Any rate, the stacks will be kept filled with new stuphs & if we can't stay open beyond 4pm there's a reason for that. So wake up early & be prepared to make the scene with the long green.
