So proud of the Santa Barbara Martineztown Neighborhood Association on the "Groundbreaking of a Community Garden in Santa Barbara Martineztown"! This work was initiated and led by community members historically from Martineztown. They worked hard, held the City accountable, secured funding, selected a Landscape Architect firm, and now they will go into construction. Community and economic redevelopment by our gente by and for community. Celebrating the hard work of community members!

Work has started on the Santa Barbara-Martineztown Community Garden, a project focused on local food access.
