Ever since we started building together, this golden holiday week has been a precious window to focus on our projects fulltime - so we kicked it off today with binding prep on an L-00. Wishing you a Merry Christmas, no matter what the holidays look like (and feel like!) for you 🎄

Early concept work for our pinewood derby entry - a moment I, Emily, have waited ages for! As a kid, I wrote the local YMCA asking if girls could build more stuff, having watched my brother make derby cars year after year. Although I *did* win us a girls’ model rocket campout (which was very cool), we never did get a derby...

Are we going to win? Definitely not 😂 But I’m excited to be in the race!

This year has felt so fast and busy that we never posted about the amazing time we had at .desert.luthiery back in May! We’ve felt lucky to be invited into this community that Perry and Alison have created - and had so much fun this year catching up with and , plus making new friends like and 🖤⁣⁣⁣

Happy New Year, friends! 🎉 We’ve been in the shop all week wrapping up projects and starting new ones - and yes, sometimes we accidentally show up wearing the exact same outfit…⁣
