We all know the Greenbrier River is a big attraction in our area, and it runs right through the middle of our hometown. We're OPEN!! And back by popular demand, we have more "Mothman Baby!" books! We also added a couple of "Bigfoot Baby!" books! Add a Mothman or Bigfoot plushie and you've got an extra special gift! We also have 3D printed Mothman & Bigfoot figures, a stretch Bigfoot, Mothman & Bigfoot stickers, Mothman hats, Bigfoot socks, several other Mothman & Bigfoot books, and more! We're always adding something new and different to our collections throughout the store, and we thought this jewelry that's handcrafted out of vintage Ball Mason Jars from 1923 to 1933 was really cool!! Come in and check it out! 🤗

We want to thank Visit Southern West Virginia for the shout out about us - West Virginia's oldest family owned retail store! 🥰 And of course, our beautiful hometown with our unique lion story. Our store just happened to be around back then, too!
Our Great-Grandfather started Alderson's in 1887, and we're in our 4th generation. 🤗 It's also cool that our 5th
Great-Grandfather founded the town of Alderson in 1777. There's LOTS of history here among the beautiful surroundings nestled in the mountains along the Greenbrier River!
(Fun fact: Next year our store celebrates 140 years, and our town celebrates 250!)

We got a reorder of our popular book locket necklaces in, including new titles of all types! 🥰 They're handcrafted in the United States by another small business, so again...it's another great way to support small businesses. We love to do that any way we can! We did check for titles requested when we first got these, and some weren't available. We got what they had and found some cool new ones!
