A totally random convo led to me purchasing an entire piano keyboard (minus key #1) at my antique mall. Finding these and putting them back together was a fun project. I grouped them in octaves and am currently exploring ideas to upcycle them into home decor. If you have any, please share in the comments!

Longhorns Fans—what a great comeback win last night! Here’s a great way to continue the celebrating……a copy of the very rare “Cook ‘em Horns,” the 1981 cookbook created to honor the centennial of the founding of the University of Texas. I’ve collected and sold cookbooks for most of my adult life and lived in Austin for 20+ years. I had NEVER seen this cookbook until this week here in Fort Worth.

This copy is from the third printing in 1982. I can only find records of it being printed through 1987, so I estimate that there are likely less than 50,000 copies printed. This copy is in good condition, there is some water staining at the bottom right hand corner of most of the pages. It contains over 700 recipes submitted and tested by UT Alumni. It is ready to be loved by another Texas Ex!

This stunning Juan Antonio Handtooled Leather Crossbody is in PRISTINE condition. It appears to have been just a few times. These bags are handcrafted in Southern California by a second generation leather artisan and his employees. It’s available in my Etsy shop at the link.
