🌻 Spend the Weekend at Danndee Flowers! 🌻

We would love to welcome you to the farm this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM–4:30 PM!
This may be our second-to-last weekend of the season, and all of the flowers are blooming beautifully! Whether you'd like to wander through the flower fields, pack a picnic, enjoy the pond, shop the store, or simply slow down and enjoy the farm, there's something here for everyone.

🧺 Pack a picnic!
We encourage you to bring lunch, spread out a blanket, and stay awhile. Admission to enjoy the farm is just $5 per person or $20 per family.

🎣 Enjoy the pond
Bring your fishing rod and reel for catch-and-release fishing, or bring your kayak and enjoy some time on the water. Please remember to wear a life jacket when kayaking!

🌸 Flowers are blooming!
The fields are full of color, and if you'd rather skip the cutting and simply take flowers home, I'll also have extra fresh-cut flowers available inside the store.

❄️ Need a break from the heat?
If the temperatures are blazing this weekend, come cool off inside our air-conditioned farm store! Our shelves are fully stocked with our entire Danndee Flowers product line—from culinary favorites and lavender goodies to skincare, home products, gifts, and so much more. There is no admission fee required just to come shop the store!

✨ A few special things happening in the store this weekend...

🥖 Joni’s Kitchen & Joni Caldwell
I’m excited to feature Joni's delicious sourdough bread, including her special lavender sourdough loaves! Pair one with some of our jam for the perfect weekend treat.

🎨 Local Art
I also have a talented local artist, JaneDotyArtist, featuring her beautiful work in the store. She has painted stunning portraits of animals and landscapes, and I hope you'll take a few minutes to stop, admire her work, and support another wonderful local artist.

🧵 A Special Connection from My Childhood
Is one of my first-grade teachers, Sandy Brown, is also sharing her talents with us! Sandy does beautiful sewing and makes the most adorable handmade potholders. It is so special to have someone who was part of my childhood now sharing her creativity in our little farm store. Be sure to take a look at her beautiful work while you're here!

More than anything, I just want to say thank you. I have truly loved seeing the support from our community and meeting so many new visitors this season. Every familiar face and every new person who finds their way to our little farm means so much to us.
So pack a picnic, bring your fishing rod or kayak, wander through the flowers, cool off in the store, and come see what’s blooming at Danndee Flowers.

I’m so excited to be on QCL and have the opportunity to represent our little town and share a little bit about our small business, Danndee Flowers! And just in time for the season… Danndee Flowers is opening this weekend! 🌿💐

Due to the rain, we’re making one little change: our first Yoga Night will be next Thursday, not tonight. We can’t wait to kick off this special evening with you!

Danndee Flowers is Almost Ready to Welcome You Back!

The flowers are blooming beautifully, the fields are filling with color, and we're looking forward to another wonderful season on the farm!

🧘 Yoga in the Flowers 🧘
Join us for a relaxing evening surrounded by blooms.
✨ August 20 – 6:30 p.m.
✨ September 10 – 6:30 p.m.
💲$25 for one session or $40 for both evenings.

These are our scheduled open hours and events for the season. We understand that our hours are limited, so if you'd like to visit the farm at another time, just send us a DM and we'll do our best to set up an appointment!

Guess what?! It’s County Fair week!

We’re busy restocking Mercer Market today and tomorrow for the pageant, and the flowers are absolutely showing off. We hope they bring a little extra joy and sunshine to you and your home this week.

As a bonus, my in-laws are in town, so I had some extra helping hands this morning! Minnie and her cousins helped me cut sunnies, and they may be the only people who always reach for the biggest blooms with the thickest, heaviest stems. 😂 It made for a fun morning and some sweet memories.

If you're headed to the fair, be sure to stop by Mercer Market and treat yourself to a fresh bouquet. We can't wait to share this week's flowers with you! 🌻💐🥰

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our booth. This was our biggest Rhubarb Fest yet, and we are incredibly grateful for all of your support. Every purchase, conversation, and visit helps our little flower business continue to bloom, and we couldn't do it without you.

Speaking of blooms... look what's finally starting to show off between all this rain! 🌻

Our first round of sunflowers is blooming, and the field is beginning to come alive with color. Calling all photographers, families, couples, and anyone looking to capture a special moment—there are some beautiful photo opportunities waiting at the flower farm.

Whether you're planning family photos, senior pictures, engagement photos, or simply want to capture a summer evening among the flowers, we'd love to have you.

Tomorrow is Rhubarb Fest, and we couldn't be more excited!

We've been working around the clock getting everything ready, and we can't wait to share it with you. You'll find us on College Avenue between Ferg's and Central Park, facing Central Park, from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM on both Friday and Saturday in downtown Aledo.
Stop by to sample our handcrafted skincare products, experience our new candle scents, and taste some of Mom's newest culinary creations!

As many of you know, we make almost everything right here on the farm. This year, we're also excited to introduce a new partnership with Heartland Criations Alpacas LLC. Their alpacas are some of the happiest around, producing beautiful, high-quality fiber. I've paired their alpaca wool dryer balls with our essential oils to create a natural alternative to dryer sheets—and we absolutely love the results.

We're also grateful for our continued partnerships with DuMont Family Cattle Company and Blue Barn Farm - RAW HONEY. I love incorporating our lavender into their already amazing farm products and creating something special together.

Looking for Rhubarb Fest favorites? We have rhubarb candles and rhubarb jam! Our rhubarb candle smells just like a freshly cut stalk—slightly citrusy, sweet, and wonderfully fresh. And when it comes to Mom's strawberry rhubarb jam, even the pickiest eaters can't resist it.

I know I've been a little quiet on social media lately, but it's been anything but quiet here on the farm. We've been busy creating, growing, and preparing for this weekend, and I can't wait for you to see what we've been working on.

It’s been a little quiet around here since December, but spring on the flower farm has been anything but quiet 🌱💐

We’ve been hard at work getting ready for next weekend’s Rhubarb Festival, and we’re so excited to see everyone again!

All of our flowers are planted and looking incredibly healthy, the lavender is growing beautifully, and we’ve been busy making products nonstop to prepare for the festival season.

This year, many of our new products for the festival are focused on cleaning and creating a fresh, natural home — something we’ve been especially excited to work on this spring. ✨

We can’t wait to reconnect, share what we’ve been creating, and celebrate the start of another beautiful growing season with you all.
