Good morning everyone! I’m so honored to have been nominated again this year for 2 categories in the Best of Madison County: Candlemaker (located in the “People” section) and Specialty Gift Shop (located in the “Business” section). Even though Vintage Road Candles is currently in transition due to the flooding of the storefront on December 26th, I will be back, I just don’t know what that looks like yet. I’m currently working on quite a bit of behind the scenes things that an event like this demands, and it’s nothing short of overwhelming. All that said, I’m honored to have been nominated yet again and would greatly appreciate your votes if you’ve enjoyed my products over the years. I do believe you can vote once per day through January 20th.

The “Community & Support” has been amazing! I don’t like to accept help, but the flooding and damage to the shop is so overwhelming that I don’t have much of a choice but to accept help and learn to tell people what I need help with. The words “Thank You” do not feel like enough but that’s all I know to say so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!! ❤️ I don’t feel like I’ve had to pick myself up again, because this amazing community has helped carry me through this. Thank you all so much for your generosity and support! I absolutely could not be doing any of this without you!!

Unfortunately, Vintage Road Candles will be closed for an undetermined amount of time. I will be assessing all damage and moving everything out of the storefront in the coming weeks. This is a lot to process, so I will keep everyone updated as things progress and we know more about what the future of Vintage Road Candles will be.

How this whole crazy waxy world of mine started over 6 years ago on my kitchen table. What was meant to be a little project/hobby for my daughter and I to spend time together, has grown into VRC being ordered by customers in all 50 states, multiple countries, opening a brick and mortar storefront, and now preparing to move into a larger storefront with attached workshop 🤩❤️ What an adventure!! Thank you all so much for your business and support, it’s because of all of you I’m able to do any of this!!
