Watermelon peperomia (Peperomia argyreia) is a stunning and super-trendy houseplant. It shows off beautiful tear-drop shaped green leaves with dramatic silver stripes. Red leaf stems (petioles) offer an attractive complement. Native to areas of South America, this small houseplant is perfect for well-lit desks and tabletops. It only grows about 8 to 12 inches tall, so it's also easy to feature on shelves and in large terrariums. Place watermelon peperomia in a spot where you can view it up close: in bright light, the silver variegation sparkles. Grow your watermelon peperomia where it gets medium to bright light for best results. That means it should cast a medium to strong shadow much of the day in the spot where you grow it. Avoid direct afternoon sun through a window in hot climates, though, particularly in summer. It can suffer sunburn. Watermelon peperomia does not need natural sunlight to thrive. It enjoys both natural and artificial light. Give watermelon peperomia some water as the top half or so of the potting mix dries to the touch. It is rather sensitive to overwatering, so if you're in doubt about whether to give it a drink, it's usually best to wait. Because watermelon peperomia has relatively thick leaves, it tends to hold up well if it gets a little too dry. She comes in a 3 inch ceramic pot. $15.

Prickly pear 🌵 (Emerald Wave Opuntiais) a genus of cacti and native from Canada, to Chile and Argentina. Another cute plant from our Spooky Collection. The name Opuntia comes from the name of a Greek city. As with many cacti, this baby not only have normal spines, but they also have thin barbed spines barely visible, named glochids. These can get stuck in your skin and be very irritating. Handle with care, if attempted to cut down the big spines already. This dose has 2 babies growing out. It comes in a 4 inch clay pot. $8

Fishbone Cactus (Epiphyllum anguliger) is one of my favorite plants. It’s part of our Spooky Plant Collection and it’s one of the coolest. The fishbone cactus forms long flat and succulent stems resembling a fishbone. Hence the name. It’s also sometimes called a zig zag or ric rac orchid cactus. Fishbone cacti are easy to care for and very low maintenance. So if you tend to always kill your plants, give this one a try. It might even show off some flowers if the conditions are right.
The stem leaves of the fishbone cactus start out by growing upright, but as they grow and get longer, they start to trail down. Making the fishbone cactus a great choice as a hanging plant, or displayed on a plant pedestal table. Place your fishbone cactus in a bright spot with indirect light. If it happens to get some direct sunlight, no worries it can handle it, but keep it limited. Fishbone cactui like a bit more water than the average cactus. Make sure it gets enough water, especially during spring and summer. Mist it occasionally for a little added humidity. Keep the soil moist. In winter let the top of the soil dry out before watering. It can handle a little neglect, but jungle cacti don’t like it to be bone dry for too long. This babe comes 3 inch ceramic pot. Perfect for macramés also!! $12.

Santa Rita (Purple) Cactus- Opuntia violacea - part of our spooky plant collection!!!! From the Mexican desert comes this handsome blue prickly pear with lemon yellow flowers and long black spines. When stressed by drought or cold, it turns glowing purple!!! All prickly pears love hot dry summers, need minimal water and can stands a fail amount of cold. This baby has started to turn purple already. Happily, the two factors that bring out the purple color are cold weather and drought.
'Santa Rita' grows slowly to about 4 feet, forming nearly perfect circles. Even young plants are spectacular. Besides being purple, it blooms vivid yellow flowers and bears magenta fruit. Not your ordinary cactus. This Dose comes in a 4inch ceramic and has babies growing. Catrina not included $12.

Hahnii Jade Snake Plant (Sansevieria Trifasciata) grows into a small easy-care houseplant that is perfect for any light exposure. Thick glossy foliage of a deep jade green. Slow growing and petite, only reaching about 12″ over time. Also known as Bird’s Nest Snake Plant for its cute protruding form. The very popular snake plant is drought tolerant and perfect for growing indoors. Interesting fact: NASA scientists have found that it can release oxygen while absorbing carbon dioxide, increasing the concentration of ions in the air indoors. This can strengthen the function of the cerebral cortex and brain activity, stimulate and improve work efficiency, and improve the quality of sleep. Ions can also significantly dilate blood vessels, relieve vasospasm and reduce blood pressure. If you want these advantages list above, grow snake plant in your study or a kids bedroom!!!!
