Wrapping up the restoration on this original 1967 JTM45-100
The amp was in pieces - i presume it was used as a donor amp for some other restoration - the front panel is original and marked JTM45, the back panel says Superbass - so its a mid 1967 transition pre-blackflag amp. The original head shell and tolex are all in great shape! Will be firing it up this weekend for the first time!

Ralph taking the 64 Split Front build for a test drive with his 74 LP Custom! This amp is a newish build that started as a JTM45 clone with AB Carbon comps, mustards, and Heyboer Iron - i then modded it with a marstran 783139 OT and 1987 lead spec values. Now, totally@rebuilt with all 60s red Piher resistors, lemco silver micas, mustards, an original RadioSpares OT, GEC KT66s and Amperex 12ax7s, and a mullard GZ34. The only new parts are the hardware, and the filter caps!

Built with MM iron, hammered metal painted aluminum chassis

Will not ship with the Komet logo.

The cab is highly figured mahagony and flame maple!

Friends, time to clean out some killer inventory.

1) Dead Nuts Spec Komet KF50 Clone - in a gorgeous heirloom figured mahogany with flame maple V. Built with the "Friedman Mod" and was built using a combination of Zoso Caps, and Vintage Mustards/Carbon Comp Resistors. Loaded with killer NOS Glass. This amp has a switchable rectifier from Tube to SS - but I've never even run a rec tube as it flat kicks butt as is. $3500

2) The White JTM45 - this amp is a NOS spec with vintage mustards, AB carbon comps, and a real RadioSpares Deluxe Output Transformer. Tubed with a Genuine Mullard GZ34, two GEC KT66s and a trio of vintage Mullard 12ax7s. This amp screams "CREAM" $2850

Still thinking about what else I might let go - possibly some vintage HIFI gear - or a Leslie Speaker or 2
