Did you know my book WINTERSET HOLLOW comes out in just one (1) month?! It’s true! And did you also know I’m freaking tf out about it? Also true!
Did you also ALSO know that preorders are vitally important to a book’s success and that I love each and every one of you so so much? Because that’s also ALSO true 👉👈
A few years ago I self-published a scrappy, weird, twisty little story with a bunny on the cover because the industry just couldn’t figure out what to do with it. Well, I guess they finally figured it out, because a fancy big-city publisher (hi, Hachette) is releasing it on October 6!
(Literally throwing up right now)
A.M. Shine, author of THE WATCHERS, called it "The rarest kind of masterpiece and one of the most original works of horror that I've ever read.”
Diana Gabaldon, Author of OUTLANDER, called it “Astonishingly powerful and multilayered! One of the most unusual things l've read in years!"
Indies Today called it “A symphonic masterpiece of literature! An exquisite blend of horror, suspense, and fantasy!”
My grandmother called it “That rabbit book you wrote”
Talking rabbits everywhere called it “Another baseless exploitation of our culture from another sad human!”
That one hurt a little, not gonna lie
But what’s in about, Jonathan? What’s it ABOUT? Wellllll…
Winterset Hollow follows a group of friends on a pilgrimage to the abandoned estate of the author of their favorite book, a timeless story about a community of animals scrambling to save their yearly Barley Day feast.
But when they arrive to pay their respects to the book that changed their lives. They discover the story isn’t done with them yet, and that so much of what the world has always believed to be fiction, is actually fact. And that the history behind this book, and the man who wrote it, and even the characters on the pages, is far darker than they ever could have imagined.
Great stories live forever, but their readers don’t. And Barley Day just wouldn’t be Barley Day without a hunt.
So if you’re thinking about picking up a copy, it would mean a lot to me if you’d consider preordering from your bookseller of choice! And if not, I still love you anyway! Available in e-book and audio book as well!
Oh, and if you’re a Barnes & Noble rewards member, you get 25% off preorders for the next two days, so that’s pretty rad! Link below or in my bio if you need it 🙂
