This included sturdy reusable cup is easier for this gentleman to hold and pour pills into his mouth.
His caregiver spouse fills the cup with his pills and hands him the cup. She reports
“it’s much easier for him”

A review of the Pill Corral home medication management set from a neighbor.

Do you or someone you care have trouble getting dressed?
A chair with arm rests can make a big difference when reaching down to the floor when getting underwear and socks on.
A chair is more solid and usually a little closer to the ground making dressing easier and safer.

A good chair like this can be found second hand for a great price!
Also lots of fun to walk around and look at all the interesting things..makes a good date night! ❤️

Pills are small…Tough to see…Hard to pickup
A pill on the floor is a risk to children and pets!

Open pill bottles over the Corral and pour them into the Lasso containment circle or into the sturdy reusable cup.
Fill weekly organizer over the Pill Corral.
The dark color and flat finish create less glare and more color contrast to see pills easier.
The ergonomically designed edges make it easier to slide a pill up and into the fingers making it easier to pickup and handle medications and supplements.

Life can get busy. Basic breath practice calms the nervous system and helps bring us back to the present moment.
Box breathing is one tool we can use.

Everyday self care tasks like washing hands can be opportunities to practice mindfulness.
Being aware of the present moment means we will be more focused and wash our hands a little better.
We can even have moments of gratefulness for our hands and enjoy washing and taking care of them.
Use the sensory input as a tool to reset and bring your awareness back to handwashing. Feel the temperature of the water or the slippery soap feel.
Practicing mindfulness does not stop thoughts from arising but it does make you aware that you have a choice to avoid unhelpful thoughts that distract and cause anxiety.

Practicing Mindfulness during daily living activities means we are less distracted and more aware of the task.
We are more focused, present, have less anxiety.
Using the senses we can come back to awareness of the present moment.
