This is a 2 piece Civil War dress/gown. It has basic styling that can be dressed up with collars, cuffs, or a belt. It can also be dressed down with an apron to look more like a work gown.

It is made of 100% cotton, reproduction fabric. It is a dark brown background with a floral and geometric print.It has matching dark brown fabric covered buttons. down the front.

The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline with dropped shoulders and 2 full gathered sleeves and cuff. It 4 darts in front with princess seams in the back, for the perfect fit. It is fully lined and closes down the front with dark brown fabric covered buttons. The sleeves and hemline have been hand finished.

The skirt is a full 180 inches around and has been hand hemmed to approimately 44 inches. It has been handpleated onto a matching waistband and closes in the back with hooks and eyes.

It is a white taffeta bodice with black scroll braid and black Venice lace It closes with black fabric covered buttons. The skirt is a white taffeta with black velvet flocking.

The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline, with dropped shoulders. The front is accented with midnight black fabric covered buttons. The pagoda styled sleeves also have matching Venice lace. It has 4 darts in front and princess seams in the back for a perfect fit.. The front hemline is pointed with a square peplum in the back. The back square peplum is accented with beautiful and the entire hemline has been trimmed with matching black scroll braid.

The skirt is 180 inches around. It is handpleated onto the matching waistband and has been hemmed to about 44 inches long. It closes with a hidden hook

The gown itself measures waist of 42 inches with a bust of 50 inches.

Please excuse the fit, it is a few inches too large for the dummy. It is a 100% cotton reproduction print. It has adarker slate blue colored background with beautiful reproduction print in gray. It is accented with matching wide braid. It closes down the front with gray fabric covered buttons. With this style gown, ladies wear a dickie or wrap a scarf in the neckline.

The bodice has a lovely v-shaped neckline, with dropped shoulders. The neckline has been accented with a row of braid to accent your face and elongate the neckline. The extra full pagoda styled sleeves also have matching Matching braid. It has a hidden button closure down the front. It has 4 darts in front and princess seams in the back for a perfect fit. The hemline has been hand hemmed. the front hemline is pointed with a straight hemline in the back.

The skirt is 180 inches around. It is hand pleated onto the matching waistband and has been hemmed to about 44 inches long.

It is designed to have a dickie or full blouse to be worn underneath the bodice. In the summer, use a dickie for neckline coverage or add a full blouse in the winter for warmth.
