They are wonderful for healing work, warding space, and processing grief. Carry one with you for protection from negativity and difficult energies. The next time you come into the shop, take a look at your cup! Our new cup stamp features an alchemical glyph symbolizing the creation of the philosopher’s stone from the aqua vitae (water of life). It’s always been my aim to imbue every detail of the shop with magic, and the coffee cup is no exception. I think it’s a fitting symbol here, and I encourage you to consecrate your cup before you consume your delicious espresso or tea to the furtherance of your health, vitality, and joy! Drink deep, shine bright….

I’ve heard the weather has been gray and rainy this week, just as it’s been where I am, on a little beach getaway with my children and Vesna. We are making the most of it, exploring tidal pools when it’s cooler and cloudier.

A lot of people are talking about going into the new school year already feeling low or burned out, and I’m not the exception. I’ve been driving maximum effort since we opened in the spring, while renovating my house almost single handed (with occasional help from my dad!) So much has changed this year. It’s been tough to keep up!

When I return this week I’m going to create an area featuring crystals for burnout. I’m also planning a special launch mid month that you’re really going to enjoy! Keep supporting the shop and grabbing those lattes on the rainy days. I’m going to soak up a little sun today and return to the shop tomorrow with all of the new ideas I’ve generated on vacation, and hopefully, with the energy to carry them out! In the meantime, Skylar, Maiya, Lane, Otter and Elizabeth are keeping the shop going in my absence. See you soon! ⛱️🌊🐚

During the shift of the seasons, so much energy seems to be in air. It can feel a bit draining or difficult to process. The shift from summer to fall, the reentry of children to school and establishment of new schedules…. There is also a little sadness as we are saying goodbye to the green months. If you’re feeling in need of an energetic tuneup at this time, Elise will be returning mid month to offer her monthly sound bath. We know that there are many sound baths available out there, and it’s wonderful to see so many people working with this modality. Elise offers deep attunement to her craft and many years of experience working with individuals and groups. Her sound baths have been the most powerful ones I’ve ever experienced.
