One of my favorite stylists right now- Wardrobe Stylist + Style Expert | NIKKO - keeps talking about getting the most wear out of your closet by coming up with different ways to wear every item you own. Every piece should be able to be worn 3 ways, and I’m taking that to HEART!! I love the way he preaches sustainable fashion by shopping what you already have! That helps you to understand where the gaps in your wardrobe are and be able to fill them more intentionally.

A great way to keep things out of landfill is to THRIFT FIRST!! Whatever you need to fill those gaps, shop secondhand when you can.

(Don’t tell anyone, but I’m repurposing this fit from Easter…it was so cute and SO spring that I had to wear it again!)

I REALLY love this dress I got thrifting, but knowing me, I’ll probably never have a fancy enough of a thing to wear it to, but I want to wear it more often!!

You might even notice that this is even a repurposed repurpose of this dress—I styled it before in a previous post! It’s fun being creative with your style, and BONUS, it’s also good for the environment to actually wear the clothes you already have.

But if you need that cool thing to complete an outfit, please shop secondhand first!!
