Monty, Nita, and Brittany are the family behind Water’s Nook Home + Gifts
While they may be new to Alton, their roots run deep in small-town living. Monty and Nita raised their three children Ricky, Brittany, and Sienna in the logging town of Toutle, Washington where community meant everything and neighbors felt like family. Years later, while Monty was working on a semiconductor facility in Upstate New York with their company, Mundial Group, they spent their weekends exploring the surrounding New England states and quickly fell in love with the charm, character, and beauty of the region.
By chance, they were introduced to Alton, New Hampshire and instantly knew they had found something special. The sense of community, the warmth of the people, and the small-town spirit reminded them of home in all the best ways.
Now, Brittany is raising her 6 year old son, Westley, here and couldn’t imagine a better place to do so. Together, Water’s Nook has been a long held dream brought to life.
They are so grateful to be here and can’t wait to continue meeting more of this wonderful community. 🤍
