I built this brand over 5 years ago with motherhood at the heart of it.
I know what it’s like to be a mom. I know that not everyone has a village waiting in the wings to keep their babies so they can get their hair done, have a facial, or simply do something that makes them feel like themselves again. & I have always believed that not having a village shouldn’t mean you don’t deserve to take care of yourself.
That’s why children (under supervision) have always been welcome here when a mom doesn’t have another option, including for our stylists and beauty techs. We do our very best to keep little ones entertained, comfortable, and respectful of the other guests in the salon, but at the end of the day, they’re still kids, and this has always been a space where moms can breathe a little easier knowing they don’t have to choose between motherhood and doing something for themselves.
I completely understand that a child-friendly salon won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay. 🤍 There are so many beautiful salons to choose from, and part of what makes ours special is that this is who we are.
Five years later, I’m incredibly blessed to say that the little vision I had became a successful business, a community, and a place where so many women, especially moms, have felt welcome.
Motherhood didn’t get in the way of building The Glam Haus, motherhood is the reason I built it in the first place. 🤍
