Realizing I haven’t posted since Oktoberfest🫣 We’re still trying to recover, it was a record breaking Oktoberfest for us!🍻 The weather couldn’t have been better & we were blessed with extra hands that came to help 🥰 These photos sum up our weekend…from enjoying the parade, selling out of hundreds of caramel apples, & enjoying some w**e slushies to keep us going…thanks to everyone that came out to make it another great Amana Colonies Oktoberfest!👏🏻🇩🇪

Oktoberfest starts tomorrow!! 💙Somehow it always feels like there’s plenty of time to prepare for it then suddenly it’s the week of & my to do list keeps growing….early mornings & late nights, that’s the magic of Oktoberfest!! 🤪We’ve done SOOO much dipping & candy making, we’ve made over 200lbs of caramel & fudge just this week!😳 There is also hundreds of caramel apples made & ready to go!!🍏 Who’s coming out to Oktoberfest?!🙋‍♀️

‼️🚨The countdown to 𝐎𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 has begun!! 🚨‼️
💙🤍 Taking place October 1-4th is the Amana Colonies Oktoberfest🇩🇪 Parade takes place Saturday, October 3rd at 10am! There will be plenty of food, dancing, drinks & fun times to be had!🤍💙

Over the last few days we’ve been dealing with our candy stove not working which was very nerve wracking considering the biggest festival of the year is next week!!!🫣 BUT luckily we were able to get it figured out, paid a pretty penny to have parts shipped in overnight & my dad was able to install & do the wiring to it & we’re back to cooking up batches of fudge & caramel again!🎉👏🏻 Sorry to anyone that’s came in looking for caramel apples this week but things happen out of our control & we’re a little behind now but should have some fresh caramel apples ready to go tomorrow afternoon🍏

Can you believe how much rain we’ve been getting?!
