What a Beautiful Morning!
Pumpkins have arrived which means two things are about to happen! Fall is in the air and the Tri-State Fair.

Sod Webworms are not common. Very rarely do we see them in the Texas Panhandle. But never, say never…. Here is what to look for and how to treat Sod Webworms.

Appearance: Slender bodies with wings rolled tightly around them when at rest.Snout: Long, forward-projecting labial palpi that look like a snout.

Wings: Brown, yellowish, or gray forewings, often featuring a distinct white longitudinal streak from the base to the outer margin.

Size: Small moths with a length around 1/2 inch (12–18 mm) and a wingspan of 3/4 to 1.5 inches

Apply Bug Blaster Plus Above and Below to protect your lawn. Especially in a larvae 🐛 stage as the feed and chew on blades of grass. This discoloration in lawn.

If you’re seeing broadleaf w**ds such as Spurge, keep them under control by applying the following.

1. Spray Ferti-lome W**d Free Zone to quickly knock broadleaf w**ds out. Do not apply above 90 degrees as the risk of herbicide burn increases.

2. Apply Ferti-lome Come & Get it.
Spurge is often spread by ants. Yes, ants help spread spurge w**d because they are attracted to and harvest its seeds, though the plant can also spreads on its own. A great ant bait would not hurt in keeping spurge at bay.

3. Ferti-Lome For All Seasons II will prevent spurge seed plus other broadleaf and grassy w**d seeds. Including Henbit, often seen in winter with purple flower.

Using these three great products will help create a healthy lawn in the future.

Prevent Grubs mid July to mid August by applying Bug Blaster Above/Below.

The most important application of the year to prevent grubs in 2027. Easy to apply and works great on other insects such as fleas, ticks, ants and more.
