One of our favorite things about mahjong is that it has a funny way of bringing people together even when they’re cheering for completely different teams! And what better way to come together to support Kids, Inc and their commitment to youth athletics.

Whether you’ve been playing for years or have always wanted to learn, there’s a seat for you at the table. We’ll have beginner instruction from Emily Perryman Hall with OK Let’s Mahjong , open play, brunch, cocktails, raffles, and plenty of friendly competition.🥳

Meet the artist behind all of our tiles, Caroline Layne Tran!🎨🀄

With a BFA from Baylor University and an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, Caroline is an incredibly talented artist who HAND DRAWS the designs that bring West Wind Mahjong sets to life (with the exception of licensed trademarks, of course!)✨ Her hand-drawn approach is such an important part of what makes our tiles ours!

Beyond West Wind Mahjong, Caroline’s work can be found on canvas at Blue Hills at Round Top through Curate: Art & Design and throughout the marketing materials for The Original Round Top Antiques Fair. Caroline lives in Houston with her husband, Danny, their daughter, Avery, and their dog, Nugget.

We are so grateful to have Caroline’s creativity woven into every West Wind Mahjong tile set. 💜

Tiles & Touchdowns with BEACH MAHJ®️ !!🏈🀄🌴 If you would have told me two years ago that starting West Wind Mahjong would lead to traveling to Florida with my sister for an event like this, I’m not sure I would have believed you!
