Today I’m working on some little dice acrylic stitch markers. I cut these yesterday, but I wasn’t super happy with the contrast of the engraving. Did some experimenting with — of all things, Dawn dish soap and acrylic paint — to get the exact type of finish my perfectionist self craved. Here’s it before, during, and an after. Each stitch marker has to be done individually but the results are worth it! Link to finish product in comments.

I did my first experiment with a painted engraved ceramic tile today. This is our old beloved dog JoeFace who we said goodbye to almost 8 years ago. I couldn’t be happier with how this photo turned out. (source photo in comments.)
