Shaheen Bros., Inc.

Shaheen Bros., Inc. For over 85 years, we've delivered exceptional service and value as your local foodservice partner. Shaheen Bros., Inc.

is a family-run business that has served customers in the Merrimack Valley for 80+ years. The company originated in Lawrence in the 1920’s when Peter Shaheen purchased a horse and cart to begin selling fresh produce in local neighborhoods. Today, the corporate offices are located in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and the company is known as a top foodservice distributor that offers customers exceptional value and service. Gone is the horse and cart, in favor of modern business practices, but the legacy continues with the third generation of the Shaheen family as owners and managers. We support restaurants, health care facilities, hotels and others in the food service industry--along the coast from southern Maine to Boston, west to Worcester and north to the lakes region of New Hampshire. With dedication to customer service and by treating employees like “one of the family,” Shaheen Bros., Inc. has grown and prospered over the years, continuing to be a successful family business in the food service distribution industry. Look for us and our Red Truck Club on your favorite social media platforms. Red Truck Club followers are treated to mouth-watering photos, current insight, and monthly contests--all specifically about our customer restaurants.

It's National Coconut Day!

Did you know...
- During World War II, coconut water was sometimes used as a temporary emergency substitute for intravenous (IV) saline solution because its electrolyte balance is very close to human plasma
- Falling coconuts have an infamous reputation. It is a well-known trivia fact (frequently cited by public health organizations) that falling coconuts injure more people annually than shark attacks!
- That we sell everything from shredded coconut, to coconut desserts, and even flavoring for your favorite drinks!

Call in today to get all of your (coco)nutty desires!
