Huge CONGRATULATIONS to The Local Shop Sedro Woolley. They won first place in The Best of Skagit Valley! The Velvet Anchor placed third. Which if you know me, you know I was thrilled to win Best Gift Shop in Anacortes 2026 and honestly couldnā€™t believe my little shop was nominated and in the top three for Best of the Skagit Valley. It was a very fun evening and hats off to everyone that was nominated in all categories. Miss Washington did a great job as emcee!

So happy that The Velvet Anchor could make Chip and Sandiā€™s anniversary so special. Chip is a real Jimi Hendix fan. He spotted this while shopping at the Velvet Anchor. Sandi contacted me and we shipped it all the way to Canada! Chip is one happy guy! Happy Anniversary Chip and Sandi!šŸ„‚~Cheers
